If you provide your email address, we will use it to send PlayaGo launch information and important product updates. We use Brevo as a data processor for newsletter signups and delivery.
The server may record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and the page visited. Browser error reports may be sent to AppSignal so we can find app problems faster. AppSignal is used for diagnostics, not marketing analytics.
Mapbox displays PlayaGo maps and receives the technical requests needed to load map tiles and controls. Browser location is requested only when you choose location features or send a beach flag submission. For flag submissions, we check whether the browser is near that beach and do not store exact coordinates in public report data.
PlayaGo may use Google Analytics to understand beach searches, map filters, and restaurant choices. If you choose only essentials, Google may receive limited consent-mode signals without Analytics cookies being stored. Full analytics works only after you accept all or turn analytics on in settings. Advertising signals stay off.
The data controller is the operator of the PlayaGo service available at playago.travel. For privacy matters, use the contact details provided in the service.
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or unsubscribe from the newsletter. We do not sell data. When you sign in with Google, PlayaGo creates an app profile for favorite beaches and your public submission name.
